J.N.Medical College - University of Illinois at Chicago, Global Network for Women's and Children's Health research Unit has been awarded US$ 2 million research and training grant by The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development Fogarty International Center (both being part of The National Institutes of Health, USA.) Dr.B.S.Kodkany, Prof.of OBGYN & Chief Investigator, Human Reproduction Research Collaborating Center of Indian Council of Medical Research, is principal investigator from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College on the project and Dr.Richard Derman Director UIC Center for Women's Health Chicago will be his US counter part on the project. Dr D. Vidyasagar, Director Division of Neonatology UIC Medical Center, Dr Vijaya A Naik Prof of Community Medicine, Dr. Niranjana S Mahanshetty Prof of Paediatrics Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College are the Co-investigators.
