Cambridge Tutors College was founded about 50 years ago and thrives to become a beckon of academic excellence. It is set in Water Tower Hill, an attractive location in Croydon, and easy access to London. The college offers a warm and friendly environment and pastoral care to 290 young students from all over the world, which are served by a staff of 60 members. The tradition technique of small group teaching and regular testing has led the college to be a renowned international centre of academic excellence.
The courses offered by Cambridge Tutor College include, a one year University Link Foundation programmes with Kings College, London and St George’s University, Granada. Completion of this programme gives an automatic entrance into the King’s Science degree programme and into the St. George’s Medicine and or Veterinary programme (parents please note). A range of GCSE and A-level programmes at regular and fast track bases, together with excellent English Language programmes are also offered.
Parents should note that Cambridge Tutors College is an international college and able to cater for the special needs of international students and offers a limited number of scholarships. Its success is reflected by its 77 students’ GCE A-level success by scoring 400 UCAS Tariff points during 2006. Thus, many students entered prestigious universities to read for medicine and other subjects such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College, Warwick and others. Furthermore, it was ranked first with 87.0% by percentage of A & B grades at A-Level in 2006. |
