Waltham Forest College was founded in 1938 and is situated in Walthamstow, North East London it enjoys the tranquility of England’s countryside and yet access to London’s West End in less than 25 minutes by the underground. It offers a large number of vocational courses, which could leads to profitable employment as well as to entrance qualification to UK universities. The college has developed a wide range of strong links with employers and able to attract a large number of students from all over the world and as such, it has created a sense of community through valuing the diversity of the people who live in the area and those who come from overseas. It also provides the environment, support, facilities and teaching from a group of dedicated staff therefore assuring high quality standards. The British Council’s English in Britain Accreditation Scheme (Eibas) regulate the college performance and in 2005, the college received the award Excellence for the Learning Atmosphere and Pastoral care of the Students. |
